My Story
Every year I watched talented students miss honor choir because they didn’t have a simple way to practice the skills auditions require—especially tonal memory, sight-singing, scales, and musicianship. I created Honor Choir Academy to change that.
My goal is to give every student access to the kind of structured, encouraging practice that helps singers improve a little every day, whether they’re preparing for their very first audition or striving for an All-State ensemble.
Today I direct award-winning choir programs in California, where my students consistently earn Superior ratings and are regularly selected for Regional and All-State Honor Choirs.
What matters most to me isn’t simply helping students earn a spot in an honor choir—it’s helping them become confident, independent musicians who enjoy making music for the rest of their lives.
